We are Denise and Sabrina. In the migration movement we connected with our language as a tool to deepen our fields: cultural industries, international cooperation, human rights, project planning and management.
The experience of migrating gave us the key to understand the importance of the language and cultural barrier that a person can go through when inserting him/herself in a context different from his/her own and carrying out a project in another language. From this approach, we conduct the classes with empathy and understand the practical needs of learning the language.
Bachelor and Professor of Arts (Philosophy and Letters, University of Buenos Aires). She did a student exchange at the Master of Arts, Letters and Languages (Université Paris VII, France). She has a diploma in Comprehensive Sexuality Education (Universidad Nacional de San Martín).
Educator and cultural manager. She is currently in charge of the audiobook project in Spanish for South America for an important publishing group. She was producer of public and international cultural festivals (BAFICI, Mar del Plata International Film Festival, Marché du Film Festival de Cannes, FIBA, European Film Festival, BA Jazz, Tango World Cup, etc.). She worked in the education area of Fundación Proa (Buenos Aires); as coordinator of non-formal education in Amijai community (BA); tour guide in Big Bus Tours (Paris) and assistant coordinator of the Audiovisual Production Degree at UNTREF (BA), among other projects. Passionate spanish teacher with a focus on art and culture. Co-creator of Al Sur.
Degree in Political Science (Universidad de Buenos Aires), Diploma in Management and Teaching of Spanish as a Foreign Language (FLACSO) and Master in International Solidarity Action (Universidad Carlos III de Madrid). With training in Spanish for Migrants, Refugees and Heritage Speakers and in the creation of pedagogical contents of Spanish for Specific Purposes in Diplomacy, Health and Business.
In the political and social field, she worked as Operational Planning Manager at the Ministry of Habitat of the Government of the City of Buenos Aires and has been part of the planning and management teams of several social and development cooperation projects in Buenos Aires, Paris and Madrid, among them: Tzedaká, CACUCA and Artecipación (Buenos Aires), Save The Children and MPDL (Madrid), Exilophone (Paris). She is currently a researcher and teacher of Spanish language for specific purposes, specializing in international politics, human rights and business. Co-creator of Al Sur.
I recommend Sabrina for learning and perfecting the Spanish language. I had a school level and with the aim of traveling to South America I was looking for the person who could perfect my level of Spanish and I found it perfectly with Sabrina. Her lessons on both grammatical basics and Latin American culture/history are very interesting, Sabrina is a good listener and her method in terms of teaching is very instructive, thanks to which I’ve been able to improve my level of Spanish. Her enthusiasm and smile are a plus and Sabrina is always available and accommodating when needed.

I took lessons with Denise as part of a potential reconversion in Spain. Denise was very responsive, making herself available in the middle of August. What’s more, she knew exactly what I was looking for and adapted her lessons so that we achieved the objectives we had set ourselves! We worked on different media (oral, writing, video, reading) and I saw my level progress very quickly. I can wholeheartedly recommend Denise and won’t hesitate to call on her again in the future!
